Our Story
In 2008, Michael Gavin, newly graduated and eager to make his mark in the hospitality recruitment industry, launched Arc’s journey in Liverpool - the city where he was born and raised.
The first client? Liverpool Football Club, a Premier League Football Club with millions of fans worldwide. A visit to the stadium is like a pilgrimage for any Liverpool fan, the pressure is on to deliver an exceptional experience for fans. It's a collaboration that would eventually lead to Arc's solid reputation as one of the leading providers of temporary staff in stadia and events throughout the UK.
A few months later, Paul Marcinkowski, Michael's university flatmate and friend, joins as a Co-Director, and together they transform Arc from a company with 500 team members into a nationwide business with a core team of the industry's top recruits, thousands of team members, six hubs across the UK, and working with some of the biggest names in stadiums, events, festivals, hotels, and businesses.
