Our Objective

Our objective is to create accessible learning, clear development routes, and real career opportunities for everyone.


Progression in flexible work is often unclear or difficult to access. Many people join Arc not just for a job, but for the chance to build skills, gain confidence, and find a pathway forward.


Our aim is to ensure flexible work becomes a genuine opportunity to grow your skill set, expand your knowledge, and develop your ambition within the hospitality industry.


Over the last few years, we have seen a shift in both interest in and experience levels for managerial roles. These roles are often perceived by younger generations as high-pressure, less flexible, and offering limited reward compared to frontline positions. As a result, fewer early career workers view management as an attractive next step, which has reduced the pipeline of future managers.


We want to help change this perception by launching a new training approach for our Team Members, combining online learning, practical development, and clear, measurable progression pathways to educate, support, and excite people into these roles.

Our Training

We use the world’s leading hospitality training platform, Flow Learning, to train our workforce. Our initial training is offered to our team members through this platform, they are asked to complete:

  • Level 2 Food Safety

  • Health and Safety Level 2

  • Alcohol Licensing 

  • Food Allergens

We also deliver in-house training for specialist roles including:

  • VIP Hospitality

  • Barista

  • Cellar Porter

Spotlight on Our VIP Hospitality Team

Create a memorable experience for your guests with our VIP Hospitality team, trained to deliver a service extending far beyond expectations.

Each member of our VIP Hospitality team has been authorised to become part of this exclusive group following a bespoke and intensive training programme devised by our Director, Paul Marcinkowski. 

Our management hand-selects the most accomplished team members to partake in this course, but only those who we are confident can deliver this high level of service are approved to become VIP Hospitality staff.

 

Once they are part of this prestigious team, they have special access to apply for our VIP shifts. Our VIP Hospitality team works across the UK at the most exclusive areas within some of the country's most high-profile venues.

Fair & Transparent Pay for Our Team Members

Our team members are our greatest asset, and we believe they should be paid fairly and transparently for their work. Every Team Member earns at least minimum wage, with most of our clients offering rates above this.

We also include Holiday Pay automatically in monthly wages- no need to request it, save it, or fill out forms. It’s simply paid alongside regular earnings, as it should be. To ensure full transparency, our payslips provide a clear breakdown of hours worked, wages earned, and Holiday Pay.

As we operate on a monthly pay cycle, we understand that waiting until payday isn’t always ideal. That’s why we’ve partnered with WageStream, an app that gives Team Members access to a suite of financial tools, including the option to access earned wages early and create savings pots to better manage their finances.

We understand that waiting until the end of the month for payday, which is why we've partnered with Wagestream to enhance the financial wellbeing of our team. 

The app provides access to a toolkit of simple-to-use, flexible financial products and services for managing money easily, securely and more effectively every day.
