No, with temporary work you are not guaranteed work the way you are with a part-time job. With a part-time job, you will be required to work a set number of hours, whereas with temporary work, you do not have a set number of hours to work each month.
As your hours are not guaranteed, temp work doesn't suit everyone. However, temp work can be perfect for those who need their job to fit around things like their studies or their family.
