FAQs

We try to answer all your questions during your assessment session, but we know right at the start there can be a lot to take in so here are some of the most common questions you may have.

I joined Arc in one city but have recently moved away for university, do you have any shifts in my new city?

It’s highly likely! We have work in nearly every corner of the UK. Have a look at our locations page and see if we have an office near you! Then contact our People Operations team via the Ubeya chat and ask to be added to the new location as well.

How do I apply to work at Arc?

You can kick off your application here. You’ll be asked a few initial questions and then either complete a video introduction or attend an assessment session. Want to know what to expect from our application process? Click here

I haven’t received my activation code for Ubeya, what should I do?

It can take up to 48 hours for an activation code to come through. If it has been longer than this since you signed your contract, please email your local hub for guidance. You can view their contacts here:

I think there is an error with my pay, what should I do?

Once you’ve received your payslip, if your pay looks incorrect please email your local hub, who will be able to advise you further.

How do I bank my holiday and request leave?

Holiday pay will be accrued based on the hours you work and automatically paid to you unless otherwise stated. You can bank your holiday by emailing your local hub. When you want to request leave you just need to contact your local operations team, ask for a Holiday Request Form and then send it back to them. All holiday pay if you choose to bank it will be paid out in full by the end of the leave year (December), but you can access amounts accrued at any time of the leave year.

I’m loving working for Arc and think my friends would too, how do I refer them?

We’re always looking for enthusiastic Team Members to join our team. If you contact the Operations team via the Ubeya chat and ask to refer a friend, they will send you the Refer a Friend form to complete and be in touch with your friend.

Can I use Arc as a reference for future jobs?

Yes. However, Arc can only provide factual references and are not able to comment on the suitability of candidates for roles. If you would like to use Arc as a reference, provide your potential employer with your local hub’s email address. The HR team aim to respond to references within 3 working days. However, this can go up to a week in busy periods.
